Head-On Collision on Hwy 35 Proves Fatal
32-year-old Michael S. Candler was fatally injured after exiting his vehicle and attempting to cross Interstate 40 near North Hills Boulevard in North Little Rock on foot early Monday morning, May 21.
At. 5:31 a.m. Mr. Candler attempted to the cross I-40 after his vehicle was disabled in an accident. While attempting to cross on foot, Mr. Candler was struck by an eastbound vehicle (2018 Subaru Outback).
Weather at the time was rainy and road conditions were wet.
