Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
48-year-old Domingo Vasques Matheu (Springdale, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Sunday, August 23, 2020.
At approximately 3:22 a.m. Mr. Vasques Matheu was reportedly “walking east on Emma Street [in Springdale] in the roadway in dark clothing and in a non-lighted area.” Mr. Vasques Matheu was struck by an eastbound vehicle (2020 Nissan Altima).
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
