77-year-old Barbara Cooley (Batesville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Monday, March 1, 2021.
At approximately 1:52 p.m. Ms. Cooley was attempting to turn onto Batesville Boulevard (U.S. Highway 167) off of Main Street in Pleasant Plains. Ms. Cooley’s vehicle (2015 Nissan) “failed to yield to [a southbound vehicle].” The southbound vehicle (2010 Dodge) was unable to stop before colliding with Ms. Cooley’s driver side.
Weather conditions were cloudy at the time of the accident.
