Woman Struck on Highway 167 in Cave City
57-year-old Patricia Sorrells (Russellville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
At approximately 1:50 p.m. Ms. Sorrells was the passenger in a vehicle (1997 Subaru Legacy) traveling west on I-630 in Little Rock. As the vehicle the ramp from I-630 onto I-430 North, it lost control traveling over the raised concrete median. Ms. Sorrells’ vehicle entered the middle lane of Interstate 430 North where it collided with a northbound vehicle (2016 Dodge Ram).
38-year-old Kristal Pelts (Russellville, AR) sustained injuries in the collision.
Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
