Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
37-year-old Coly Linn (Pettigrew, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
At approximately 7:35 p.m. Mr. Coly Pettigrew was the passenger in a vehicle (2018 Chevy Sonic) traveling south on Arkansas Highway 265 in rural Washington County. The vehicle lost control on wet roads and left the roadway before striking a tree head-on. Mr. Linn sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
27-year-old Kristin Jones (Westville, OK) also sustained injuries in the accident and was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center.
Conditions were reportedly rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
