Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
50-year-old Patricia Haynie (Hoxie, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Monday, November 19 shortly after 3:00 p.m.
Ms. Haynie was the passenger in a 1998 Lexus headed east on Highway 412 in Paragould. At approximately 3:05 p.m., a 2016 Chevrolet pick-up truck westbound on Highway 412 attempted to turn left onto Highway 135 South and turned into the path of Ms. Haynie’s vehicle.
Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
