62-year-old Carolyn M. Williams (Marvell, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.
At approximately 8:36 a.m. Ms. Williams was driving east on U.S. Highway 49 in Helena/West Helena. Ms. Williams’ vehicle (2012 Toyota Yaris) was struck near Phillips County Road 231 by a westbound vehicle (2001 Chevrolet Silverado) that crossed the centerline.
Prior to crossing the centerline, the Chevrolet Silverado collided with another westbound vehicle (2019 Ford F-150).
63-year-old Joseph B. Cissell Jr. (Lexa, AR) was driving the Chevrolet Silverado and injured in the accident. 54-year-old Marchell Ivory (Marvell, Ar) was a passenger in Ms. Williams’ vehicle at the time of the accident.
Conditions at the time were reportedly cloudy and wet.
