Moped Accident in Fort Smith Proves Fatal on Friday

25-year-old Leodegario Levon Gonzalez (Fort Smith, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, April 22, 2022.

At approximately 6:06 p.m. Mr. Gonzalez was traveling west on Grand Avenue. According to the report, Mr. Gonzalez was traveling in the turning lane when he attempted to move back into the inside westbound lane and his moped collided with an eastbound vehicle (2002 Dodge Ram) attempting to turn north onto N 33rd Street.
