Wet Roads Result in Deadly 18-Wheeler Accident

61-year-old James Hunt Neeley (Southaven, MS) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.

At approximately 8:18 p.m. Mr. Neeley was a passenger traveling north on Interstate 555 near Gilmore when the 18-wheeler (2020 Mack Truck) he was traveling in left the roadway before jack-knifing and overturning.

45-year-old Mitchell Green (Forrest City, AR) sustained injuries in the accident as well.

Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
