18-Year-Old Loses Life in Highway 16 Wreck

18-year-old Mark Thomas Christiansen (Pangburn, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Sunday, May 17, 2020.

Shortly after 8:00 p.m. Mr. Christiansen was traveling north on Highway 16 when his vehicle was struck by an eastbound vehicle. The eastbound vehicle (2005 Pontiac G6) was stopped at the stop sign on Reaper Road at Highway 16 and “failed to yield the right of way” impacting Mr. Christiansen’s vehicle (2000 Jeep Laredo). Mr. Christiansen’s vehicle overturned several times.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
