Mark Bryant Loses Life in Arkansas Crash with Large Truck

52-year-old Mark Bryant (Jonesboro, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Monday, May 13, 2024.

At approximately 9:52 a.m. Mr. Mark Bryant was traveling north on Highway 117 in Lawrence County west of Walnut Ridge. A southbound 18-wheeler (2000 Freightliner) lost control in rainy conditions before crossing the centerline and colliding with Mr. Bryant’s vehicle (2002 Ford F-150) in the northbound lane of traffic.

Mr. Bryant sustained fatal injuries in the collision.

26-year-old Dennis Garay Melara (Honduras) also sustained injuries in the collision.

Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
