Lawrence Gates Fatally Injured in Hit & Run

22-year-old Lawrence Gates (Jacksonville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, September 2, 2022.

At approximately 7:43 a.m. Mr. Gates was a pedestrian walking along Highway 107 near Cleland Road in Cabot when he was struck by a vehicle traveling south. The unidentified vehicle fled the scene.

Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
