21-year-old Lauren Elizabeth Hayes (Hensley, AR) and 21-year-old Christopher Robert Ford (Lonoke, AR) were fatally injured in an accident that took place in Ico on Thursday, January 31, 2019.

An unidentified vehicle was traveling north in the inside lane of U.S. Highway 167 North at approximately 5:24 p.m. Ms. Hayes was exiting the parking lot of the Dollar General in the community of Ico and drove into the path of the unidentified vehicle. Ms. Haye’s and Mr. Ford’s vehicle was struck on the driver’s side.

Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly cloudy and dry.
