Curtis Chapman Fatally Injured in I-40 Wreck Near NLR

57-year-old Curtis Chatman (North Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, April 25, 2021.

Shortly after 7:00 a.m. Mr. Chatman was driving east on Interstate 40 when his vehicle (2013 Dodge) was rear-ended near mile marker 150 in North Little Rock. An eastbound vehicle (2002 Toyota) struck Mr. Chatman’s vehicle before leaving the roadway. The impact caused Mr. Chatman’s vehicle to lose control before striking a barrier and crossing the roadway.

Two additional passengers in Mr. Chatman’s vehicle sustained injuries in the collision. 49-year-old Theresa Trotter (Maumelle, AR) and 28-year-old Rikayla Trotter (North Little Rock, AR) were transported with injuries to UAMS in Little Rock.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
