I-40 Collision Claims the Life of Sherry Meadows

51-year-old Sherry Meadows (Texarkana, TX) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, January 31, 2025.

At approximately 4:50 a.m. Ms. Sherry Meadows was traveling east on I-40 near Lonoke when she attempted to maneuver around an unoccupied 18-wheeler (2005 Kenworth) stopped on the inside shoulder of I-40 and partially obstructing the inside lane. As Ms. Meadows was maneuvering around the stopped large truck, another eastbound 18-wheeler (2023 Kenworth) collided with both Ms. Meadows’ vehicle (2014 Toyota Camry) and the stopped 18-wheeler.

Ms. Meadows sustained fatal injuries in the collision.

Road conditions were wet at the time of the accident.
