34-year-old Laura Garcia was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Sunday, September 9.
An unknown vehicle eastbound on Sunset Avenue (Highway 412) in Springdale struck Ms. Garcia near Pleasant Street at approximately 9:15 p.m. The vehicle left the scene. Ms. Garcia was transported to Northwest Medical in Springdale where she was later pronounced dead at 10:10 p.m.
Weather conditions were reportedly a light mist and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
