Larry DeDeaux Fatally Injured in 18-Wheeler Accident

65-year-old Larry Allen DeDeaux (Perkinston, Mississippi) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

At approximately 2:54 p.m. Mr. DeDeaux was traveling south on U.S. Highway 67 near Bradford when his 18-wheeler (2019 Mack) “impacted the rear” of a vehicle (2005 Ford F650) traveling south in front of Mr. DeDeaux’s semi-truck.

The Ford vehicle, driven by 44-year-old John Nickles Covel (Springfield, Missouri) was forced off the roadway from the impact. Mr. DeDeaux’s 18-wheeler left the roadway coming to a final rest in the median.

Mr. Covel and Mr. DeDeaux were transported with injuries to Unity Health and UAMS.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
