Pedestrian Struck & Killed on I-440 Exit Ramp

41-year-old Kristal L. Cruz (Fort Campbell, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, August 14, 2021.

At approximately 10:44 p.m. Ms. Cruz was walking eastbound on the Fourche Dam exit ramp off of Interstate 440E when “for unknown reasons [she] attempted to cross westbound.” Ms. Cruz was struck by two eastbound vehicles exiting I-440E (2003 Mercedes & 2021 Hyundai Kona).
