Nakhia Booker Fatally Injured in I-30 Wreck

21-year-old Nakhia Javon Booker (Hope, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

At approximately 3:55 a.m. Ms. Booker was the passenger in a vehicle traveling west on I-30 in Hempstead County. The vehicle (2013 Chrysler) left the roadway near mile marker 23 between Hope and Texarkana before striking a tree.

Ms. Nakhia Booker was fatally injured in the accident.

30-year-old Xavier D. Stewart (Texarkana, TX) also sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to Christus St. Michael’s in Texarkana.
