Head-on Collision Near Wynne Proves Fatal
37-year-old Karla Herrera (Warren, AR), 27-year-old Britnee Hampton (Warren, AR), and an unidentified minor were all fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, August 14, 2021.
At approximately 1:40 p.m. Ms. Hampton was traveling north on U.S. Highway 63 in Bradley County when her vehicle (2008 Pontiac Torrent) crossed the centerline and struck Ms. Herrera’s vehicle (2015 Mercedes) head-on in the southbound lane of traffic. Ms. Herrera was traveling south on Highway 63 at the time of the accident.
The minor who sustained fatal injuries in the collision was a passenger in the Pontiac vehicle. Three additional unidentified minor passengers in Ms. Hampton’s vehicle sustained injuries in the collision and were transported with injuries to JRMC in Pine Bluff and Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.
