Minor Loses Life in Forrest City Head-on Collision on Division St

An unidentified minor passenger was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

At approximately 9:42 p.m. the minor was a passenger in a vehicle (2019 Chevrolet Malibu) traveling south on Division Street in Forrest City when the vehicle “lost control” and crossed the centerline just north of Ash Avenue. The vehicle collided head-on with a northbound vehicle (1985 Chevrolet pick-up truck) in the northbound lane of traffic.

The driver of the southbound vehicle, also an unidentified minor, and a second minor passenger both sustained injuries in the collision and were transported to Regional One Medical Center.

42-year-old Juston Busby (Forrest City, AR) was driving the northbound vehicle at the time and sustained injuries in the collision.
