Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
34-year-old Jonathan James Slaughter (Fort Smith, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Thursday, February 25, 2021.
Shortly after 6:30 p.m. Mr. Slaughter was struck by a motorcycle (Honda VTX 1300) on Grand Avenue in Fort Smith. The motorcycle exited the parking lot at 1700 Grand Avenue and entered traffic on Grand Avenue when it struck Mr. Slaughter.
43-year-old Marshawn M. Jenkins (Fort Smith, AR) sustained injuries in the collision.
