18-Wheeler Struck by Train in Arkansas, Claiming Driver’s Life

62-year-old Jerry Price (Mena, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, July 9, 2021.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. Mr. Price was traveling east on Polk Road 48 in Potter when his 18-wheeler (2009 Peterbilt) was approaching the intersection with State Highway 375 West. Mr. Price’s 18-wheeler entered into the path of a southbound train. The train struck the front portion of the semi-truck’s trailer.
