58-year-old Jerry Bankston (Ozark, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Tuesday, September 18.
Mr. Bankston was driving south on State Highway 164 in Johnson County at approximately 4:40 p.m. when his vehicle (2003 Dodge) left the west side of the highway. Mr. Bankston overcorrected crossing both lanes of traffic and leaving the east side of the highway before overturning.
37-year-old passenger, Wesley T. Perry (Altus, AR), was transported with injuries to UAMS in Little Rock.
Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
