37-year-old Jeremy E. Kennedy (Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, December 24, 2021.
At approximately 7:43 a.m. Mr. Kennedy was traveling east on Interstate 40. An eastbound 18-wheeler (2019 Peterbilt) left the roadway veering to the right before reentering the roadway. The 18-wheeler was traveling “at a slow speed,” when Mr. Kennedy’s 18-wheeler (2021 Kenworth) approached and struck the vehicle from behind.
According to the initial report, “Mr. Kennedy did not realize [the Peterbilt] was traveling so slowly.”
