Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
31-year-old Jamie Schneider (Benton, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.
At approximately 7:55 p.m. Ms. Schneider was traveling west on I-30 Frontage Road in Bryant when her vehicle collided with the rear of another westbound vehicle (2007 Toyota) near Prickett Road. Ms. Jamie Schneider’s vehicle (2020 Hyundai) left the roadway after the initial collision before striking an embankment and overturning. Ms. Schneider sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
27-year-old Jorge Fresch (Benton, AR) and 24-year-old Daniel Fresch (Benton, AR) were traveling in the westbound Toyota vehicle and sustained injuries in the accident. Those injured were transported to Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton and Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
