Cyclist Fatally Injured on Highway 82 in Arkansas

43-year-old Jason Williams (Monticello, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Friday, January 3, 2020.

At approximately 6:45 p.m. Mr. Williams was traveling east in the westbound lane of Highway 82 near Strong (AR) when his bicycle was struck by the front end of a westbound vehicle (2005 Honda Accord). Mr. Williams was ejected from his bicycle and struck the front windshield of the vehicle before being struck by a second westbound vehicle (2018 Ford Edge).

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
