Jalyn Mayweathers Fatally Injured in Highway 270 Accident

26-year-old Jalyn Mayweathers (Arkansas) was fatally injured in an accident on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

At approximately 7:14 a.m. Mr. Mayweathers was a passenger in a vehicle traveling east on State Highway 270. Mr. Mayweathers’ vehicle (2009 Dodge) was attempting to pass an eastbound vehicle. An 18-wheeler (2018 Kenworth) traveling west attempted to avoid a collision with Mr. Mayweathers’ vehicle and swerved to the right (north). Mr. Mayweathers’ vehicle, also attempting to avoid a collision, swerved to the left (north) and struck the 18-wheeler head-on.

31-year-old Rashad Nalls (Arkansas) sustained injuries in the collision and was transported with injuries to CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs.
