Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
61-year-old Carl Wayne Polston (Hot Springs, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Shortly before 6:00 p.m. Mr. Polston was struck by a vehicle (2014 Jeep Compass) “in the outside lane” of E. Grand Avenue. According to the report Mr. Polston was struck by the front of the vehicle as it passed Butterfield Street. Mr. Polston was transported to CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Weather conditions were cloudy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
