Idaho Man Killed in Fatal Arkansas Collision

85-year-old Ray Don Pearson (Blackfoot, Idaho) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Friday, September 6, 2019.

At approximately 8:20 p.m. Mr. Pearson was driving east on Interstate 40 near Mulberry when his vehicle (2017 Toyota) was struck from behind by another eastbound vehicle (2017 Volvo). The collision cause Mr. Pearson’s vehicle to leave the roadway and roll “several times.”

70-year-old Wilam Leona Pearson (Blackfoot, ID) was a passenger in Mr. Pearson’s vehicle at the time of the accident and transported with injuries to Baptist Medical Center in Fort Smith.

The driver of the Volvo vehicle sustained no injuries.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
