23-year-old Juan Rodas Santizo (Batesville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Friday, July 26, 2019.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m. Mr. Santizo was driving south on Highway 69 east of Newark when his vehicle (2010 Honda) crossed the centerline. 39-year-old Harold Odom (Newark, AR) was driving north on Highway 69 at the time of the accident. Mr. Santizo’s vehicle struck Mr. Odom’s vehicle (2005 Ford) in the northbound lane of traffic.

A third vehicle (2009 Toyota) traveling south behind Mr. Santizo’s vehicle was also involved in the accident. Those injured were transported to White River Medical Center.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
