Rodger Rogers Loses Life in Highway 5 Wreck

67-year-old Rodger Rogers (El Paso, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Friday, March 29, 2019.

At approximately 1:41 p.m. Mr. Rogers was traveling south on State Highway 5 in White County when his vehicle (2010 Mazda Miata) ran off the roadway. Mr. Rogers overcorrected and steered into northbound traffic striking a 2013 Toyota Tundra.

57-year-old Barbara Stevens (Heber Springs, AR) was driving the Toyota Tundra north on State Highway 5 at the time of the accident. Ms. Stevens was transported to Springhill Baptist Medical Center with injuries.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
