Vehicle Struck by Train in Arkansas, Claiming Two Lives

30-year-old Jeri Lynn Emmons (Hot Springs, AR) and 38-year-old Ginger Jean Broadway (Ravenden Springs, AR) were both fatally injured in an accident on Friday, May 14, 2021.

At approximately 5:06 p.m. Ms. Emmons was driving eastbound on Highway 280 (SW Elm Street) in Peach Orchard. Ms. Emmons’ vehicle (2020 Dodge Durango) crossed into the path of a northbound train near Highway 90 and was struck by the train.

Ms. Broadway was a passenger in the vehicle.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
