Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
29-year-old Llonson Escobar (Hot Springs, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Monday, April 25, 2022.
Mr. Escobar was traveling west on Albert Pike Road (U.S. 270) near Ledgerock Road. 44-year-old Feleasha Robinson (Hot Springs, AR) was traveling east in the inside lefthand lane when Mr. Escobar’s vehicle (2008 Honda Element) crossed the centerline and collided head-on with Ms. Robinson’s vehicle (2005 Chevy Trailblazer) in the eastbound lanes of traffic.
Ms. Robinson and Mr. Escobar were both transported with injuries to CHI St. Vincent’s Hospital in Hot Springs where Mr. Escobar later succumbed to his injuries.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
