Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
86-year-old Doyle Watson (Malvern, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, September 23, 2021.
At approximately 11:05 a.m. Mr. Watson was traveling east on Midway Road when he attempted to turn onto the U.S. Highway 67 South in Donaldson. Mr. Watson’s vehicle (2021 GMC truck) “pulled out of Midway Road in front of” a southbound 18-wheeler (2019 Mack). Mr. Watson sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
56-year-old Michael Jones (Arkadelphia, AR) was driving the Mack truck at the time of the accident and sustained injuries in the collision.
