Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
68-year-old Stephen Hobbs (Fort Smith, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, September 20, 2024.
At approximately 7:36 a.m. Mr. Stephen Hobbs, of Ft Smith, was cycling east along Roberts Boulevard in Fort Smith approaching I-49. An eastbound vehicle (2023 Jeep Cherokee) struck Mr. Hobbs’s bicycle from behind.
Mr. Hobbs was thrown from his bike and sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
