Car Wreck Report
Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
38-year-old Daniel Adrian Barajas (Albuquerque, New Mexico) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, January 15, 2022.
Shortly after 6:00 a.m. Mr. Barajas “entered the number 1 lane [of I-30 East]” and was struck by an eastbound vehicle (2010 Kia) near mile marker 106. Mr. Barajas was struck by two additional vehicles (2020 Freightliner & 2016 Volvo) following the initial collision.
Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
