43-year-old Courtnee Shane Chandler (Fort Smith, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Thursday, March 5, 2020.

At approximately 1:26 p.m. Mr. Chandler was traveling south on South 24th Street (Old Jenny Lind Road) when his vehicle (2009 Nissan Altima) crossed the centerline and struck a northbound vehicle (2008 Nissan Titan) head-on in the northbound lane of traffic.

73-year-old William A. Roe (Fort Smith, AR) was driving the northbound vehicle at the time of the accident and transported with injuries to Mercy Hospital.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
