Sydney Owens Fatally Struck in Fort Smith
25-year-old Raymundo Carrera (Pine Bluff, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Monday, June 22, 2020.
At approximately 7:10 a.m. Mr. Carrera was traveling south on Interstate 530 when the vehicle (2000 Ford Van) in front of Mr. Carrera slowed. Mr. Carrera braked and an 18-wheeler (2005 Freightliner) traveling behind Mr. Carrera collided with Mr. Carrera’s vehicle (2004 Chevrolet Silverado) pushing Mr. Carrera’s vehicle into the vehicle in front.
Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
