Christy Vega Struck by Vehicle on University Ave in Little Rock

42-year-old Christy Vega (Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Sunday, March 21, 2021.

Shortly before 8:00 p.m. Ms. Vega was “walking westbound across S. University” was struck by a northbound vehicle (2000 Ford Taurus) in the northbound lane of traffic. According to the report, “the area where [Ms. Vega] was crossing did not have a crosswalk nor was it lit by street lights.”

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
