Chevy Truck Hits Two Cars Head On, Fatally Injuring One

26-year-old Cody A. Thomas, of Gassville, was fatally injured during a three-vehicle accident Tuesday morning, February 27th, on U.S. Highway 65 near Bellefonte.

Mr. Thomas’s vehicle, a 2010 Ford Focus was traveling north on U.S. 65 behind a 2005 Toyota Camry. According to the report, a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado headed south crossed the centerline into the northbound lane and struck the Toyota Camry head-on. Following the initial impact, the Silverado then struck Mr. Thomas’ Focus head-on, fatally injuring Mr. Thomas.

Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
