Teenager Dies in Ashdown Wreck on Highway 71

19-year-old Charles M. Gillespie (Wilton, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.

At approximately 7:07 a.m. Mr. Gillespie was traveling north on Highway 71 N when lost control while attempting to navigate a curve. Mr. Gillespie’s vehicle (1997 Honda Civic) left the roadway and struck a tree.

Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry.
