52-year-old Charles E. Cowles (Houston, TX) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Saturday, December 26, 2020.

Shortly before 4:00 p.m. Mr. Cowles was traveling east on Highway 412 near Sonora when his vehicle (2012 Toyota Sequoia) left the roadway and struck “a large rock.”

45-year-old Jennifer E. Cowles (Houston, Texas) and 3 unidentified minor passengers also sustained injuries in the accident. Those injured were transported to Washington Regional Medical Center and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
