Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
60-year-old Charles E. Brunson (Greenwood, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, June 4, 2021.
At approximately 2:39 p.m. Mr. Brunson was traveling north on I-540 near Van Buren. Mr. Brunson was traveling in the lefthand lane of traffic when the front of a northbound vehicle (2020 Dodge) collided with the rear of Mr. Brunson’s vehicle (cement truck) traveling in the lefthand lane of traffic.
Mr. Brunson’s cement truck lost control before leaving the roadway and overturning.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
