77-year-old Callie Green (Walnut Ridge, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Friday, February 22.
Shortly after 3:00 p.m. Ms. Green was the passenger in a 2008 Mercury Sable traveling north on U.S. Highway 63 in Hoxie. 78-year-old Chester Green (Walnut Ridge, AR) was driving the vehicle when it crossed the centerline near Lawrence County Road and struck a southbound 2012 GMC truck head-on. Those injured in the accident were transported to St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Conditions at the time were rainy and wet.
