18-year-old Amanii Beard of Foreman, Arkansas lost her life in a fatal one-car accident on Wednesday, May 16 shortly after 9:30 a.m. Amanii and two passengers were headed south on County Road 53 in Foreman when she lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle, a 1999 Chevrolet, collided with a tree. 18-year-old Alyssa D. Jones of Foreman was injured in the accident and transported to Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana and an unnamed 17-year-old was also injured.
According to reports, Amanii was traveling the gravel road to graduation rehearsal when the accident occurred.
Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
