Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
65-year-old Barbara K. Green (West Helena, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.
Shortly before 8:30 a.m. Ms. Green was driving west on Highway 242 when her vehicle (2013 Dodge Dart) was turning left (south) onto U.S. Highway 49. Ms. Green’s vehicle was struck by a northbound 18-wheeler (2006 Freightliner).
33-year-old Taracella M. Barnes (West Helena, AR) was driving the 18-wheeler and sustained injures in the collision.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
