Five were fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

58-year-old David Davis (Blytheville, AR), 72-year-old John Shipley (Steele, AR), 83-year-old Thomas Wallace (Blytheville, AR), 19-year-old Jacob Lee (Manila, AR), and 40-year-old Daniel Spray (Rector, AR) were all fatally injured in the accident on March 1, 2022.

At approximately 6:20 p.m. Mr. Lee and Mr. Spray were in a vehicle (2015 Chevrolet Malibu) traveling east on State Highway 18 in Monette when their vehicle crossed the centerline while negotiating a curve. Mr. Lee and Mr. Spray’s vehicle struck a westbound vehicle (2019 Dodge Caravan) in the westbound lanes of traffic.

Mr. Davis, Mr. Wallace, and Mr. Shipley were traveling in the westbound Dodge vehicle.
