Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
18-year-old Olivia S. Williams (Prescott, AR) and 19-year-old Lenell M. Johnson (Prescott, AR) were fatally injured in an accident that took place on Sunday, May 26, 2019.
At approximately 1:45 a.m. Ms. Johnson was driving a 2012 Chrysler 200 west on Interstate 30 north of Prescott. Ms. Williams and 18-year-old Adrianna S. Giles (Prescott, AR) were passengers in the vehicle. Their vehicle struck a tree that was laid across the lane of I-30. The vehicle lost control and collided with the rear of a 2014 Kenworth 18-wheeler parked on the shoulder of I-30.
Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
