Wet Roads Result in Fatal Highway 135 Collision

38-year-old Anthony L. Johnson (Paragould, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, April 24, 2021.

At approximately 7:49 a.m. Mr. Johnson was traveling north on Highway 135 in Clay County when his vehicle (2000 GMC Sierra) crossed the centerline and struck a southbound 18-wheeler (2014 Freightliner) head-on.

Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
